Dr. P.T. Usha, the co-founder and president of Usha School of Athletics is at the helm of affairs of the school. After retirement from active athletics she surrendered herself to the enthusiasm and commitment to sports, especially athletics ,of the people of koyilandy and started this unique institution to realise her dream of a medal in the Olympics which she lost by 1/100^th of a sec at 1984 Los Angeles Olympics.Mrs. P.T.Usha is sure to make this institution a full-fledged Sports Academy with the help of all well-wishers of Sports.

Mr. Ajanachandran, one of the co- founders and General Secretary of the Usha School of Athletics, since its inception, is there to develop the school as an institution to produce world class athletes . A spirited sports lover and an excellent organiser, Mr. Ajanachandran is always in the forefront of the development of the school to a full-fledged Sports Academy. He is there also to ensure the wellbeing of the ushaites.

Mr. Sreenivasan, husband of P.T.Usha is one of the co-founders of the Usha School of Athletics. As Treasurer of the school he is the backbone of the activities of the school and his encouragement, support, consolation and love made usha to march forward with courage to materialise her dream.
