ARJUNA AWARD FUNCTION TO BE HELD AT RAKSTRAPATHY BHAVAN, NEW DELHI ON 29TH AUGUST 2014

Award function to be held at Rakstrapathy bhavan, New delhi on 29th August 2014 at 6.00PM

Tintu Luka, has been nominated for Arjuna Award for outstanding achievements in sports. A selection committee led by former cricket captain Kapil Dev recommended Luka and 14 others for India´s second highest sports prize that is given by the sports ministry. 25-year-old Luka is the youngest among all the sportspersons nominated for the award and is a national record holder in the women´s 800-metre race.
